Cable Garden Fest: Wild Edibles
The Museum partners with Big Brook Greenhouse in a celebration of life through gardening. Visit the festival from 2:00-3:00 p.m. to learn about early summer wild edibles. $5/person. Please call Big Brook Greenhouse to register at 715-798-3191.

Growing Green: Bog Walk
What is the difference between a swamp, a marsh, and a bog? Step lightly through a local bog with a naturalist from the Museum to learn about the formation, creation, and ecology of bogs. See carnivorous plants and experience this adventure from 8:00 a.m. until Noon. Meet at the Forest Lodge Nature Trail located at 22305 Garmisch Road. Please bring clothing and shoes that can get wet. Donations accepted.

Growing Green: Nature Hike up Mt. Telemark
When was the last time you climbed to the top of Mt. Telemark with a naturalist? Ascend this mighty peak on this expedition with the Museum to collect the rare facts and knowledge of northern Wisconsin's natural history. Gather by the front doors of Telemark Resort and Convention Center at 10:00 a.m. to make history on Mt. Telemark. Return by Noon. Donations accepted.

Growing Green: Late Summer Wildflowers
Some of our most common, unique, and longest-lasting wildflowers bloom in late summer. Take a walk with a naturalist along the trails of Bayfield County through the forest and fields to indentify and discover these brightly-colored species. Meet at the Forest Lodge Nature Trail located at 22305 Garmisch Road at 10:00 a.m. and return by Noon. Donations accepted.
