Family Workshops– No Charge
Bird Friendly Tree Workshop - Sponsored by Cable Natural History Museum (11am - 2pm)
The Cable Natural History Museum staff will help you create a Bird Friendly Tree that will be sold at the Festival of Trees Auction and Open House on December 7th from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM. All proceeds from the sale of these trees will go the Museum. You can help decorate by stringing popcorn, cranberries, making popcorn and peanut butter balls, creating pinecone bird ornaments, etc.

We need your help and it will be a fun filled workshop for the whole family and rewards go to a good cause. Come any time to the Hospitality Room in the Lobby of the Telemark Resort between the hours of 11:00AM - 2:00PM on December 6th and lend a hand. Hot Cider and cookies will help you not eat the popcorn!!!

Story Time with Forest Lodge Library & Redbery Books
(11am - 1pm) Lobby Fireplace Area
Mom, dad and kids come join the fun! Forest Lodge Library and Redbery Books staff will be reading stories in front of the BIG Telemark Fireplace. Snuggle up and enjoy!

Also at Telemark Resort along with the Festival of Trees events on Saturday will be the Annual Christmas in Cable Craft Fair. Celebrate the holidays in Cable December 4 - 6 and enjoy Shopping and activities for the family, visit the Cable Area Chamber of Commerce for a complete list of events.

Also, look for the Baskets of C.A.R.E. that are on display at local businesses during the month of November and the weekend of December 4 - 6 at Telemark Resort. These baskets are a special part of the festival of trees event, the raffle money raised to win a basket is collected and given to C.A.R.E. (Cable Area Resources in Emergencies - formerly H.O.P.E.). 

C.A.R.E. is a local non-profit that gives direct assistance to people during emergencies. Tickets will be sold at participating businesses and during the Festival of Trees event. The Basket of C.A.R.E. drawing will take place at Telemark Resort during the Festival of Trees event on Sunday, December 6th.
